Drama queen world
I wanted to start making daily outfit posts, not in the outdoors, where I’m dependent on friends to make my photo’s, but safe inside my home. Where I can just set up my camera, learn how to pose and get into the habit of daily ‘outfit of the day’ posts. Ever since I’m unemployed I got into a downwards spiral with being creative. I played the new Zelda for hours (thanks for getting me hooked Amy!), watched TV and some days I got to go out with my boyfriend or friends. But since my boyfriend has a new job, and I’m home alone with banjo until he comes home, I’m trying to work as hard as if I were when I have a job. Up until now I only get declines on my job applications, because I haven’t got years of experience. So to show them I’ve got the skills, I’ve decided to redesign my entire blog. What’s the best way to show your web programming and design skills, then by sending a portfolio site made entirely by myself! Unfortunately I’ve kinda got a creativity block. It feels like I need to push myself to create original ideas. If anyone has the same problem from time to time where creativity just doesn’t seem to be anywhere, let me know.
So, instead of playing Zelda (which is AMAZING BTW), I decided to start my day with yoga and then make a blogpost with my OOTD! Since it pushes me to wear all the cute clothes instead of my jeans and shirt or pajamas’s. I hope I can share some art and DIY’s in the future too! And I will share a song that is special to me with every post, because music can make you feel so much better or worse, it’s just amazing what it can do with your emotions. For today’s post I chose ‘Welcome Home’ from Radical Face, it was the first Radical Face song I heard, in the Nikon commercial. And even though I never knew the title or artist when the commercial came on I just had to pause and listen to the song. Eventually I looked up who wrote it, and so my love for Radical Face was born. He will be my most important musical artist ever, since his music helped, and still helps me, with my OCD and anxiety disorder.
Until my new blog design is online I’ll keep posting on this one, but I hope to launch the new layout very soon!

Some have names but most do not
If you find one, please let me know what piece I’ve lost”
Radical Face – Welcome home
Also, I wanted to ask, for people that are vegan (or not), what they think about keeping animal products in clothing, bedding, or home ware you already own, after you become vegan. I decided to become vegan last Christmas. I must admit that the first few weeks were difficult, especially with eating outside the house, but I never wanted to beat myself up about it. I’m 99% vegan now, but I know that sometimes I will make a mistake and eat something that will have animal products in it. I will try my best to always go the vegan way in food (the rest will be vegan no matter what, like makeup, home ware, clothing), but I know you can’t always be on top of every ingredient that is used to make your food. I would like to know how other people think about stuff you owned before going vegan.
I have 3 pairs of Dr Martens, and even though I never liked leather, being an employee you got your first pair for free. The other 2 where just beautiful. I’ve worn my ‘mermaid shoes’ almost everyday, but sometimes I feel guilty, for still wearing something made of leather while calling myself a vegan. I’ve received many positive messages from the vegan community, but I can’t shake the feeling that whenever I post something with my Doc’s or a doughnut from ‘Dunkin Donuts’ (I really wanted to try one and well, they got no vegan donuts as far as I know) they will despise me. Even if I would never buy wool, leather or anything with animal products in them again. But that’s another thing. Some glues used in the making of Doc’s aren’t vegan, so how do you know if canvas shoes are even vegan? Where do you draw the vegan line? If anyone has the same or a different opinion about this, I’d love to hear it! (This is not a invitation from carnivores to criticize the vegan lifestyle. I do want to invite everyone to read into the vegan lifestyle, you can find more information on: https://veganchallenge.nl/wat-is-vegan/ (Dutch) or https://www.vegansociety.com/go-vegan/definition-veganism (English) ).
